Former Patriot DT Houston Antwine has passed away at the age of 72.
Antwine was a six-time AFL All-Star and a member of the All-Time All-AFL Team. He was also a member of the Patriots 50th Anniversary team and a finalist in this year’s voting for the team’s Hall of Fame.
Antwine spent 11 of his 12 pro seasons with the Patriots, from 1961 to 1971. He led the team in sacks in 1967, 1968 and 1969, finishing with 39 sacks in his 142 games as a Patriot.
